TAC 4 Multicore Fibre Optic Drum

Our Tac 4 HD four fibre heavy–duty cable is 6mm OD and weighs only 12kgs per 300m. As well as non–corroding, it has military tactical design that is flexible in cold weather and has electrical isolation. All cables come terminated with hermaphroditic connectors, the industry standard for fibre optic communications in harsh environment

The Delphi genderless connection prevents cables being run in incorrectly and has been designed to withstand miltary demands and is highly effective against crushing, impact, cable twisting and bending.

• Crush-resistant and resilient with a thick layer of aramid strength members
• Round cable design for easy installation and survivability
• Polyurethane jacketed for abrasion, cut and chemical resistance
• Operating temperature of -55° to 85° C (-67° to 185° F)
• 500 mm acrylate primary buffer coating over each optical fiber
• 900 mm diameter hard elastomeric secondary tight buffer protection on each optical fiber
